Today we live in an environment where the words emitted from your mouth, through your voice are not enough. Whenever anyone makes a comment, statement, or personal representation of their beliefs, the world dissects ever character of the composition to piece together it’s perceived meaning. This inability to functionally communicate at a meaningfully high level is the foundation for part of the social dysfunction present around us today. Those being heard and promoted as the truth are mostly agenda winding self indulged mouthpieces to a majority of grossly uninformed people seeking tribal blessings of fitting into something outside their simple existence. This draws a counter attack from the other side of this ideological divide without any regard from either side to the actual representation of reality. Truth is no more than the first offer of a negotiation over who’s more right. I’ve never read a single page from anything written by Bob Woodward, but the simple fact he holds two Pulitzer’s lends some credibility by me to his work. Now does this mean I take everything he writes at face value, absolutely not. I don’t accept anything for fact without a cultivated work of research and an accompanying story to bind the details. Does this suggest the 140 character tirades of a person who, to my knowledge, has never researched or represented anything I could contrive as knowledge for something representative of the truth. We have to address the audience accepting these words, and the contextual perspectives aligned with the message. Understanding is not in any terms a measure of equality, nor does it disseminate evenly across groups of individuals. This is why there is a broad public spectrum across society, with a small minority realizing the truth, and the majority subjugating their gaps with gossip and unsubstantiated hearsay. It’s simply what humans have done for the last 10,000 years. Anger is our default response, thus why conflicting views turn to shit in a heartbeat. The intention for this particular expression of my thoughts is to drive the attention of those bothering to read towards the individual, the self within. Here is where the frontline of the single most important battle of this massive out of control social war is staged. Through your interpretation of your own existence lies the fodder for everything swirling around at these ideological extremes. There would be no sense in a war of rhetoric like the aforementioned without the response of those listening. The reaction is triggered by the frustration within the individual, not the enlightenment of the messengers. Tribalism is an inherent trait traced across the landscape of the human story to our hunter gatherer ancestors. Belonging to a group was essential to survival. Your life depended on those in your tribe. Stratified heiarchy maintained order, now it lifts individuals up through the socioeconomic tiers, while leaving a majority questioning the fairness of such a system. There’s a fine line between informing and manipulating as far as communication goes. The Pulitzer winning author would love for you to buy his book to receive his suggestion of insight and understanding, while the 140 character tyrant wants to manipulate your focus, so you won’t question his validity. Both sides have their individual agendas, that aren’t identified up front. In order to discern this, you must analyze their perspectives, character, and credibility before you can draw such a conclusion. Any knee jerk reactionary outburst only shines negatively back on your ability to comprehend reality. Fact of the business is we owe it to ourselves and everyone around us to distinguish these qualities from everything we see and hear in order to set our understanding on the proper path. Lest we simply provide prey for the hunger of these wolves dressed in authoritarian clothing...
AR - Governor Asa Hutchinson gives our state another black eye with his ridiculous commentary on an appropriate response to gun violence in America. I know, I seem to be stuck on this inflammatory subject, yet nothing productive has come about while the problem swells. In the absence of any emotional granularity on this topic, two opposing perspectives have drawn a ridiculous hard line between them, that has prevented any progress. “No Guns vs. No Rules” is the only debate taking place today. Not a single rational discussion has taken place by the people of influential standing with respect to this issue of murder and the tools for its occurrences. It can’t be boiled down to simplistic components for easy digestion by the average citizen. People want to interpret their varying perspectives in absolute perceptions, yet the rule of law doesn’t provide that type of reality. Laws and Rights are unique human concepts for organizing social behaviors. Their applications and effectiveness varies from situation to situation as they are presented.
CBS 60 Minutes reported tonight on the use of chemical weapons on the citizens of Syria by the cocksucker Bashar Assad. The world watches and denies his atrocities against the very people he claims to represent. At what point does murder of innocent people create outrage?
After spending the last couple of days helping my adult son get his healthcare situation lined out, I can’t help but wonder how the average person figures this fucking mess out. I’m pretty sophisticated when it comes to the financial systems of this world, but healthcare insurance and the subsequent care provided is far too complex for just anyone to comprehend. So, how does this convey access to care, that can actually be utilized?
watching the latest Netflix series “Ugly Delicious”, I praise David Chang for his utilization of food culture to crash the social divides of ignorance and prejudice. That being said, he invaded the south and suggests ideals that just don’t exist for everyone. The struggles of the immigrant and slave populations are undeniably present. The struggles of the no privileged white poor aren’t too far removed from that day to day existence to survive. NO ONE living in the present time has a disadvantage/advantage that’s unrelated to wealth. Poor people of EVERY skin color struggle. Wealthy people of every skin color have the opportunity to prosper. This idea that culinarily preference is completely related to your ethnicity is a myth. Cultures merge at the margin of their fringes, which are the commonality of heritage sharing and food. My grandmother never left the county she was raised in until she graduated high school, got married, and moved to California in a single weekend. Her exposure to a variety of cultures via the other Navy wives she encountered along her travels, gave her a culinary basis to build a family tradition off of. That tradition was eerily similar to the so called “Soul Food” popularity from African American heritage. My point is, all people at the lower end of any socioeconomic spectrum gravitate to the comfort of culinary traditions. Race is not the differential factor!
we all live live in a giant lie perpetrated by the very organization we hold dearly for our freedoms. The United States government has knowingly subjected its citizens to toxic levels of radioactive contamination since 1942. That time span includes the Rosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump administrations. So, don’t pretend this is about party lines. The head of the EPA under Obama actually denied the existence of the toxic levels of contamination in a recorded conversation with JUST MOMS STL about the ordeal going on in their communities. This is so disturbing to consider the scope of this lie.
