"Empty Glass...Shadow Cast"
There’s an awful lot of news surrounding behavior motivated by sexual urges that turned into misconduct. If you’ve every taken part in this activity as a consenting participant, you can identity the forces behind the need to satisfy its calling. Once again, evolution rears its presence in everyday life amongst our species. Do you for a second believe that the sensations associated with intercourse/copulation are created by mankind to bask in the glory of feeling satisfied? Well...you’re fucking uneducated to the biology of how evolutions sole purpose is to carry copies of your genes to yet another generation. It’s social structure that’s perverted all of that to pleasure seeking emotional fulfillment. The U.S. entertainment culture has fucked it up so badly, children born today might not ever understand how love, respect, and family drive the proper narrative for flourishing human enrichment. We watch content driven by raw sexuality, worship people pretending to be other people, and then wonder how that lead us to rampant sexual misconduct.
"Culture blinds and binds..."
We all should hold our values a bit more accountable in that we have to decide what’s worthy of praise. We’re all humans, and capable of doing better, once we decide we want to. Idolizing other people, who are capable of being less than ordinary, lifts the curtains for what we see around us today. Perceived power via fame can create an unintended monster. Imagine if your perceptions allowed you to feed something dark inside of you. We need to stop praising individuals for their powers to distract our attention away from our real lives, and redirect that attention and money towards being better communities. Stop and consider how much of your life’s precious time is consumed supporting this fake reality. The sports and entertainment industry represents over 2 1/2 TRILLION dollars of global economic activity. No diseases are cured, no children are educated, no social problems are solved with this giant diversion of resources and attention.
"Balance is called to the forefront..."
I’m not suggesting we stop utilizing sports and entertainment for their socially beneficial aspects.
The key is striking a balance between precisely where there’s benefits and where there’s obsession. Incentivizing the circulation of a larger portion of the financial component back into the community, and the reduction of this entire celebrity status for people perceived in iconic status. The perceptions being absorbed by those adorning these industries is not being filtered by enough rational interpretation. The grand picture has overrun the practical application. Substitute local community sports and entertainment for the larger than life global model. Plant your money and attention in the community where you live, rather than the NFL, Hollywood, and the likes...
