“Hoecake/Baby”

We all compete emotionally to be recognized for being uniquely ourselves, but we crave the human attention associated with social networks. We live a life of contradictions and moral dilemmas. This plays out with this urge to calculate where we stand in the vastness of humanity, and ultimately the universe as well. The closer we are to someone or something, the stickier the context of how we compare. It’s this contextual identity we need to flush out. Here is where progress and enlightenment make a stand in the name of identification.

“Knowing you are alone...and, accepting why that’s the way things should be”

Sizing ourselves up to the standard of how we perceive things. Completely misinterprets what the purpose of a life actually is. Figuring out where we jump on, and calculating how to advance through the masses is the real truth. Not who we are, but how fast, and in what direction are we traveling. The cultural moral standard is slightly off target with its interpretation of what a good life means We are failing to cultivate the better versions of ourselves to share with the communities we represent. it appears we have lost the understanding of what that harmony and connection represents to the long term development of the individuals within a  community. The shear complexity of consciousness filters out far more than it enlightens, and leave the dispossessed in a lifetime of despair, absent of tangible goals chasing realistic dreams.

“Everyone can’t be the banker...someone, has to be the trash man. If you want to piss off the banker, stop taking out his trash”

Identifying the workload of converting chaos to order is the first step for accepting this role as the preferred individual. Life is hard as fuck, with only intermittent flashes of joy. Making sense of a microscopic speck in the infinity of the universe, sorting for predictability and comfort is a bitch. This is where the emotional check down crosses the   “blood/brain” barrier. Life can feel inviting or overwhelming depending upon your perspective lens. Nothing in the universe changes to accommodate this, just the notions inside your melon.

“Finding relief in something numbs the anxiety...only to rear its head after we awaken”

There’s no quick fix to this age old dilemma, as a matter of fact the situation strengthens with the trajectory of life’s exponential complexity trend. When do we slow down to reach back and lift an entire population of newborns to reach their potential? Parenting within the community and not in a weird cult-like situation, but in the nurturing where you truly care about everyone getting a chance way.

there’s so much about me, that’s yet to be discovered. we race against the years to uncover what lies within our innermost self. my best version of myself remains in constant construction.

“...Raging Bull”

If we measure the depth of our relationships by the breadth of our conversations, just imagine a casual visit with Donald Trump😳 Having to actually provide supporting details to the bullshit he spews at the ignorance of the infuriated. It’s a sad state of affairs whenever the truth about anything becomes optional to the audience being addressed. We hold no truths to be self evident as we continually allow integrity and honor to slide from the face of morality and prop up ideological agendas verses the actual best interests of society. Everything associated with freedom is washed aside by the battle for tribal supremacy. God and human rights are thrown around as though they were something objectively tangible.

I watch for signs at the margins of where cultures fail to convey. Cross that against the ranges of tendencies, and you come to realize where we stand. Consciousness is a tangled mutha fucker of a burden on our energy budget. Life is about smoothing out the hard shit in favor of leisure. Constantly comparing ourselves to anything other than a better version of our current self is extremely debilitating to the joy of a moment.

im not quite sure what’s supporting this piece of nonsense going on up in here. I keep getting drug aside without much resistance. maybe I’m soaking in enough from the streams of cognitive consumption I feed from, that expelling my perspective just isn’t happening. the world struggles to find this notion of equality, yet biologically it’s not available in the fundamental form necessary to sooth the social divide culture has implanted in our behavior. what we’re really searching for is equality in consciousness, where all thoughts are measured by the same standards. there again, emotionally all impulses matter to the individual as though they carried the same weight upon everyone. unfortunately, that weight is measured by the specificity of the individuals unique circumstances. the dialogue for equality comes from the dispossessed or misunderstood, not from the willingness of the lucky to concede their power. too often we assess ourselves by comparing what we accept about ourselves with the perspective of what we assume about those we long to assimilate with. there’s something far more profound bubbling up behind all of this notion I have. I’ll give it a few more days to clarify it’s purpose, so the message is cleaner and precise...

“French/Fries”

I’m not quite certain why I chose this title, nevertheless here we are. It’s been an interesting and satisfying twelve days in France. We’ve seen and done so much, that qualifies as new experiences. Every time I engage a different culture my perspective is expanded. I don’t believe anyone’s vision of the world could be considered too wide. Like every culture, the French have their good and bad aspects to be weighed against one another. Overall, they’re a good group of people with a high level of passion for life itself. It’s my purpose to not be that guy using stereotypes and broad generalizations to describe human beings, or cultures, or nation states and the likes. We are all so alike in so many ways, while being effected by biases and preferences brought about by our surroundings. Maybe that’s what the underlying message to this diatribe is, and french fries represent that story.

Potatoes are indiginous to the South American continent, yet they’re consumed world wide. The French are credited with a specific version of cooking them in fat called frying. That technique is also enjoyed globally by hundreds of various cultures. All of this happened over an extended period of time only because humans that were inquisitive and eager to meet, exchange, and accept other humans stories of adaptation occurred. We see around us each and every day so many aspects of our lives that evolved in similar fashion. Not always through peaceful means, but accepted somehow nevertheless. Judgement by individuals or groups of individuals is all that separate any of us today. Commodotizing other humans stories became the byproduct of social and cultural development after the rise of ideology through religious and empirical development. Modern understanding and technology have diminished the demand for such primitive ways of thinking, yet billions of people remain trapped by those antiquated beliefs. Fear is still preached via the manifesto of isolation and scarcity from ideological leaders tightly grasping the stupidity of our past ignorance. We know better today, yet far too few actually realize the benefits of how much better all of humanity could be.

Just as with those inquisitive adventurers discovering the nutritional value of the potatoes, and all the other adventurous souls following behind them to deliver so many of us today this thing we know as the fench fry. I strive to seek the things in other cultures and societies that lift my life to a greater understanding of everyone. Unshackled from the dogmatic notion I am more or less than anyone else because of where and when I was born. Preservation of ideological traits is the anchor of the past, and retards growth and development for all of us. Imperial aspirations segregated humans far more than the advancements for the very few. The next time you sit down with a serving of french fries, consider the sharing and acceptance supporting their presence in your life. Then dip them in whatever your favorite accompanying sauce may be, and realize how that preference can be shared to unfold a greater benefit to everyone by sharing its joy rather than hiding its existence...
