Words are only representative of the behaviors supporting them. So, whenever ANYONE says some bullshit they never intend on supporting, or never really happened, they position themselves as a liar. To the degree of how much they say are lies is dependent upon their character and integrity as an individual. Lying is the most human aspect of humanity, given we created this form of misinformation along with the spoken and written language. This is not the religious condemnation of bearing false witness, but rather a different spin of caveat emptor. At what point do we ignore the message and hold the listener accountable? People fucking lie every day. How many times have you told yourself something that you didn’t fulfill??? So, don’t get indignant on me and pretend you are better than that shit. I fucking know better. Doing the right thing, and being your best version of yourself are important measures of a persons character. Honesty is a valued trait in our species. Let’s not pretend though, we’re all much closer to the average than we’re willing to admit.

So, we all drift in an out of, over and around, above and below the truth at strategic points in our lives. The key is are we dependable whenever something is on the line! Can we be counted on when called upon to respond emotionally to someone else. That’s the absolute best anyone can hope for from another person, right? Trying to sift through the piles of discrepancies and disparities we all throw at our fellow beings in an attempt to retain our singularity as individuals is far too much emotional lifting. Identifying those specific traits within someone else, and not getting shit on by them is the challenge. Everybody has one of those stories, that effected them in a profoundly emotional fashion. We tend to retract ourselves after these missteps, but we should hold them up to examine exactly how to improve our ability to judge others capacity to stand tall.
“...smells like fish taco”
I guess I’m trying to say it’s ok to be human, just be the person needed by those that believe in you. Don’t hold others to an elevated standard above what you hold yourself to. Recognize within yourself, what you scrutinize in others, else you’re just being judgemental. Resist the path to becoming an asshole every chance you get. Reach for the truth, but make it you truth with respect to others.
